Well there you have it — not only during the summer but LITERALLY ON A FRIDAY NIGHT… bunch of firms have either started/in process of starting/will be starting on Monday… I think rumor has it either KKR or TPG kicked it off tonight with some interviews however MANY others will be going soon aka Monday if not tonight.

My high-level thoughts:

  • Don’t just go for the sake of going, headhunters won’t like that and you might not be shown other opportunities if you REALLY shank interviews

  • SOME BIG Megafunds are literally saying this early is silly so they’re going to go in the fall so don’t think this is your only bite at the apple - just be prepared for a HEAVY RECRUITING SZN

  • Do whatever you can to prepare this weekend simply put - our sale continues as we try to help out as many folks as possible!

  • ALSO if you’re like 40-50% of the way through our curriculum and won’t make a fool out of yourself, I’d interview - life will never be at 100%
